About the Upcoming Chevrolet Chevelle
As it was mentioned before, the Chevelle has been waited by a lot of car enthusiasts and auto lovers. The main focus is the Chevelle SS 454 1970, which was considered a very cool ride back then in the era. For now, the upcoming Chevelle would be made by Trans Am Worldwide, having all the modern features and techs in the form of classic design. In fact, it’s super cool and speedy, able to accommodate 1,500 hp – at least what they said.
Design and Style
The new 2025 Chevy Chevelle would be constructed in the form and construction of Chevy Camaro (the convertible type) but the exterior area would have a totally redesigned touchup that covers quad headlights, reshaped fenders, and also a (twin) square grille. It will even come with newer style of the (chiseled look of) Chevelle front side bumper.
For the rear area, it would be coming with extended design, having square taillights and new trunk lid. For those who want to have the coupe design, there is a removable hardtop that even adds up the stylish appeal.
What about the interior cabin? Expect to find the retro style seats that are similar to the 1970 Chevelle. Naturally, it would be updated to boost comfort and convenience. It has comfy vibe and somewhat cool appeal. You can even find a Hurst shifter (for the shifting gears) and it would be crowned with a cool cue ball. More details about the features and available technologies (including the safety systems) haven’t been revealed just yet.
The Rumors about Chevelle
Although there hasn’t been any confirmation whether the Chevelle would be produced in mass order (its code name is 70/SS), rumor has it that it’s ready for manufacturing stage. This is quite confusing as Trans Am Worldwide has recently stated that interested buyers can place their orders now, while deliveries should be coming around fall time.
When it comes to the exterior appeal, the 70/SS would be coming with re-polished appearance. The basic foundation would be the Camaro, but Trans Am Worldwide would completely re-polish and change the look. In fact, they would change everything that the only remaining component for the Camaro (at least for the exterior side)
Powertrain and Performance
As it was mentioned before, the 70/SS would be coming with a convertible design with removable hardtop as the extra option. There would be different color options, along with some options and upgrades. Inspired by the original heritage colors (from the real 1970 model), the new Chevelle would be coming with metallic options and also modern gloss.
For the power, the vehicle would be coming with V8 unit with 6.2 liter capacity that can generate 450 hp. However, there is an option where you can get the one with 900 hp – and even the one with 1,500 hp with its supercharged units paired together with cowl induction system with pop-up mechanism.
Price and Release Date
If everything goes as planned, the Chevelle should be introduced in fall months, followed by delivery time not long afterward. When it comes to price, there is no information about it, but many have stated that the price may start from around $150,000.
